Hi folks

Here's a photo of my new lad's feet. He's very sound on pretty much all surfaces and the hoof seems to be of good quality. He does need a trim which will be arranged asap. I'm also expecting some development of the feet as he does more work (he hasn't done much prior to coming to me, but was out a lot). He's an Arab so his feet are dainty. Would like a couple of (hopefully kindly worded!) opinions in case there's anything I need to mention to the trimmer. Also, wooo, I made the photos work! Thanks!

They look good to me, but I'm a total novice when it comes to BF so hopefully someone who really knows will come and comment.

Well done for buying the best breed ever and in the best colour too. :p

I think that a photo of the whole neddy would be nice. :) :) :) Please. :D

Ah go on then, since you're insistent and I don't need much encouraging to show him off! I think he's gorgeous (clearly biased) - although I did originally want a grey!

They look very good to me, and I wouldn't be in any rush to get them trimmed either. Just get some Red Horse products and treat the mild thrush on the frogs, they're the weakest part of these feet but would quickly bulk out if you treated them. Don't use anything that would be too strong, like iodene, or peroxide.
