We had a small 200 bird day today so I thought I might cope with taking my camera
It was a pretty dull and foggy day (although dry) and my camera struggles with poor light so I am afraid the pictures aren't particularly good.
Son was beating, daughter worked Toby and I of course had Flyn..........enjoy
First drive, just to give you some idea of how high the birds are at this shoot (although it would have been better if there were actually some birds in this shot!)
"I've found one Mum"
Second drive - you can just make out the last gun
Robin with Lottie and Daisy waiting for some action
Flyn carrying another in a very unusual and undignified manner
"I'm marking it Mum, leave it to me!"
Walking down to the third drive after soup (daughter is nearest with Toby)
Yay - I got some birds in the picture this time! The guns are standing right in the bottom of the valley.
Toby says "Wait, I've got one for you!"
Daughter "Thanks Toby"
And finally (phew I hear you sigh) off loading at the Game Cart
