There are so many saddening and moving posts and comments on this superb horse, and so many forum members who have some Amazing and heartwarming pictures of him, esp those who have been fortunate enough to know him, I wondered if this post could be used just to add your lovely memorable pictures of him. RIP the legendary Cavalier. x

The first picture of Cavvy jumping at Cardiff is stunning - what a way to remember him! A friend of mine lost her horse at a competition. Having won his section,he collapsed at the finish - so traumatic.Someone found the event photos,and a few weeks later presented them to her.She was so grateful, but would never have looked herself,as she was devastated.However,they are now treasured memories,on display, and a reminder of just how much her very well-loved friend relished his job.

He was sheer class. He did look like he was thoroughly enjoying himself at Cardiff, such a tragic end

Ditto Katb - very honoured to see him enjoying himself to the end - but equally devastated in how it ended.

My very personal picture of him - he and Mary are in the background to Donkey at Your Horse Live - I wanted the photo taken so they were in the background, took a lot of explaining to hubby why and who they were
