was just wondering whether anyone has used this mixture on scabby legs.
My boy's front legs have flaired up, as they do from time to time. They get v.fat and get scabby, they then become so itchy that he takes the hair off them and has in the past made them raw. No real clue as to why they do this, the only thing that has changed was wearing new tendon boots on Fri. Dectamax has sorted it out before but the YO suggested pig oil and sulpher, so I've put some on tonight.
The only thing that's worrying me is if he scratches his legs over night and eats the mix.

saw this recommendation on here a few weeks ago, and people swore by it.

I told a person on my yard, and she has bought Pig Oil (no sulphur available locally)... and that has been helping enormously with her cob.

Yes I use it and it is very good, i get both from my local feed merchants, make it into a thick shake mixture and paint it on, watch out for any gold as the sulphur turns it a funny colour but it does return.
