Hi All

Hope you can help - Ive seen alot of people talking about pig oil and sulphur as a treatment for itchy legged horses. could anyone advise where I can buy these ingreadients and what ratios to mix them by?

Thanks

I got both mine from the local tack shop. Pig oil was about £16 for 5 litres and the sulphur was a couple of quid for about 2kg. I just mixed them together until it was not to thick but not to runny - just right to spread all over the legs.

You only need to do it every couple of weeks as well.

I get mine from heavy horse supplies - ratio - I do it by eye but about 1/2 litre of oil to 6 - 8 tablespoon or couple of fistfulls of sulphur - basically you want it to look and feel like mcdonalds thickshake/thin custard.

If you want the huge PM I do about P&S and hairy horses, PM me and I will send it to you.
