Does anyone have these breeches, am looking for a jean style breech, smart but practical, one that does not sit low on the waist (hence me hitching them up all the time). Have had the Mountain Horse Jeanie Breech, Rugged Jean Breeches, both quite restrictive and did not fit so well.

Have got some Cavallo Breeches, not sure which style they are, they are lovely but i am forever hitching them up....

So looking at the Pikeur Candela, i like the fact that they are high waisted, the denim looks soft (at least on the picture), i am a typical pear shape, i have a size 28" waist but chunky thighs and biggish bum, clothes size i am a generous size 12 in trousers or a small size 14.

Are these true to size? probably look at ordering a size 30" ??

Hiya,
i have these breeches and they are my fav of all! In fact I have two pairs!! I find them v comfy and do not fall down at all.... I'm a 10 but a curvy shape and have a size 27 which are perfect..... Expensive breeches but worth even penny :D

Don't mind paying out if the quality is there, i am in my breeches most of the time so worth the money if they last.

I have these and absolutely LOVE them, I wash them & wear them constantly and they have lasted me years and are still going strong. I also have a Cavallo denim pair but much prefer these.

I think they come up slightly bigger than the Lugana as I'm a size 14 and have these in 28 but am a 30 in the Lugana.

I always wear Candela breeches as they fit me so well and I do have a pair of the denim ones - fabulously comfortable and, like all Pikeur breeches, wash well and last for ages! I do find that Pikeur come up a little larger than other makes though so if you are borderline, I'd pick the smaller size.
