As post title, tried a pair of Pikeur Montana Winter Breeches on yesterday, they have a fleecy lining and a soft shell outer which is weather proof.

I have just started hunting again and hate being cold and can remember always having cold legs, so thought I would treat myself to a pair but they are expensive, so are they worth it?

not sure if mine are Montana but they are Pikeur winter ones like the ones your describe. They are fab - i feel slightly 'padded' and shiny in them but when Im the only one on the hunting field who has dry warm legs I don't mind so much!

I have found them for £110, will go and see if I can find the Kentucky ones of comparison.

Angelbones - they did seem a bit padded but as you say if you stay warm who cares!

I have the Pikeur ones, and love them. They're not all that padded, although I can tell when I zip up my boots that they are thicker! I just ordered another pair for winter comps.

They aren't completely water-proof, more like water-resistant, but even if they get wet, you stay quite warm.

I tried these and also some Tally Ho ones, which were £90, LOVED them, only prob is, my boots are v snug and they weren't comfy under them (runkled at the back of my knee!)

Defo worth it, just try your boots for comfort!!!
