Pikeur

Hello! needing some advice again, was looking to buy some new breeches & lots of people are telling me to buy Pikeur, I just wondered if anyone bought their breeches and if so, which pair? as Pikeur seem to have quite a few different ones for sale?!

Also, if you bought Pikeur, do you find them as good as people say they are?

Pikeur are my fave breeches, but if I were you I would go try different brands on as we are all different shapes and therefore suit different styles!

Daughter bought a pair of Pikeur Princess breeches (white

) for show jumping. She loves them but found that she actually took a size smaller than normal in Pikeur. With this in mind I would advise that you try before you buy.

They look superb, fit really well & are very smart....but then they should be as they aren't cheap are they.

Yes Pikeur Princess are good competition breeches although they do come up quite large. Anky coolmax breeches are good too.

I like wearing Pikeur as very good quality, coats, jumpers the lot... and get a size smaller.

all my breeches r pikeur, they are fantastic, comfy, stylish and last long too!

i love them, i also have a riding coat and some jumpers too , they r brilliant too, well worth the money. xx

Pikeur are great if you are 'curvy'. If you are a bit 'up and down' i prefer Kentucky and Cavallo. I used to like the Anky but the fabric isnt as good [IMO]. Really good value are the Derby house own brand full seat. But their mail order is pretty pants so i am not sure i would part with hard earned cash without actually going to the shop!!!!
Also good value but not the shape for me are the Isabel Werth range.

I got a pair of Pikeur breeches off ebay for £40 brand new!!!! love them!

I live in my Pikeur Lugana full seats - personally hate the princess - find they rub behind my knee for some reason - wear the same size as other brands

Look on Horse Heaven ebay shop - I get all mine from her.

I have 2 prs of pikeur breeches, they are great quality, lovely stretchy material. They have lasted yrs so far. If I can afford it I buy Pikeur every time.....
