Just for those who looked in on my thread the other day asking if anyone had bought any pink equine breeches before.
Well I ordered them, and they arrived today - they are very very shiny white
(never owned white breeches before, so very excited!!)
I tried them on - they are quite high cut - but comfortable. The waist band is a nice secure one - not one that has loads of stretch in it and ends up being too big after your worn them for a couple of hours!
The legs were a little baggy around the thigh on my - but then I do have stick legs, and I've been ill recenty, so I think I have lost quite a bit of muscle around my thighs TBH. When I bent my leg up into a sort of riding position though they looked ok.
Re the thickness of them - I tried them on with my completely black pants on, and although you could kind of see something darker under neath the seat, you couldn't see a definite VPL across my bum. I wouldn't wear them out with black cacks on - but the black wasn't super obvious through them (if that makes sense!!)
All in all - I would definitely recommend them if you are in the market for some white jods - especially as they work out at £15 each!
Can't go too far wrong with that in my book!
Anyway, if I decide that they aren't great for competing in, I will just dye them another colour and wear them around the yard!
Oh - and the zip through fleeces that are also in the BOGOF offer are gorgeous - £20 for 2 of them. They are a lovely feeling fleece, not too thin, zipped pockets, good length of arm - would deffo recommend them too
