Pink Mash or Soothe and Gain

Hi I have a TB mare that I am looking it get a little more weight and condition on and was just wondering what peoples thoughts were on Pink Mash and Soothe and gain which has seen the best results. she is a hot head so looking for something that is non heating.

I fed mine on Pink Mash through the winter, they both came out of the winter a bit too fat (unusual for one of them in particular) but then our hay was like rocket fuel. I give it to my mare to encourage her to drink more at events , she doesnt heat up on it

Ok, so they look similar but are actually very different feeds. Soothe and gain wouldn't be something I would feed. I would go for the pink mash and add a rice bran oil pellet if I needed more calories

Second pink mash, soothe and gain looks like it might give your horse too much energy..fed my old boy pink mash through the winter and he did come out looking too well in spring..however I feed micronised linseed too for weight gain and good skin hooves etc,,might be worth feeding that too.
