i have a 28 yr old welsh x cob who is needing to gain some weight. she recently dropped some weight due to worms, she has now been wormed and looking for a feed to gain some weight. she is normally fed on fast fibre and dengie alfa a molasses free but she has gone off this. i was going to get her allen and page veteran vitality but then saw pink mash being advertised. just looking to get some thoughts on which one people have expereince feeding.

My daughters welsh d x cob has been feed pink mash for the last two years and we would never feed him anything else. He was very difficult to get weight on even though he was only 6, since feeding pink mash he gained weight whilst still staying sane.

I feed veteran vitality. My horse did well on it last winter

Pink mash does not have any vits/minerals so you would need to ensure you are supplementing the feed
