I keep forgetting to ring NAF and ask them how long I should give the loading dose for, as it doesn't seem to say on the tub or the website. Does anyone happen to know please? Thanks!

I noticed on my liquid Naf Superflex there was a loading dose but not the powder and my pink powder doesn't have a loading dose on it so maybe its just liquids?

Hmm puzzling...it definitely says loading dose 4 scoops (as opposed to 3 maintenance) on my small powder tub; but just not for how long!

You are quite right - the PP tub I have just bought has the loading dose on it as you say, but doesn't say for how long.

If I was to guess, I would say 2-4 weeks, depending on the condition of the horse when you start, then if there's an improvement go on to the maintenance dose. But if the horse shows longer to improve, stay on the loading dose until you can see a visible difference.

On the Pink Powder tub I have theres no loading dose stated and it just says to feed 2-3 scoops per day for working horses- or something to that effect- I started one of my horses on it a few weeks ago and I noticed that it was working after about 1 week- because of the probiotics my horse has a more even temperament and working very well on it. I've just been giving him 2 scoops in the eve feed and 1 scoop in the a.m feed.

I rang NAF! A lovely lady told me that for my horses I should feed 3 scoops per day, better to feed in the evening. My horses are 15.3hh and 16hh. Sorted :-)
