At first I thought cleo had sweet itch through the summer found it weird she just had it on her bum though, then back in November realised it can't be still so done a bit of research and realised it could be pinworm,
Treated her with equest, passed one or two, so was then advised by local horse feed store I needed to do pramox to clear it but again it passed one or two and she is still really bad. Has now got to the point of she is so stressed by the irritation she is kicking the stable. This is totally out of character she is such a laid back sweet little mare normally.
I have now read success stories with people using the pancacur 5 day guard then 4 weeks after do a shot of strongid p. which I am going to do tomorrow.
Anyone have any other suggestions? I have cleared the stable with disinfectant each time, washed haynets, head collars ropes, and buckets and bowls all with disinfectant.
She is stabled 24/7 at the moment unfortunately as fields are trashed at our yard as its really badly flooded with all this rain
