Any ideas whether she will return to 4* competition soon? Or what she is up to? I am out of touch with her activities. Shame not to see her at Badminton.

She won what seemed like every class at burghley young event horse last year with numous "billy" horses but thats all I've seen of her. Last big outing I think was the badminton where she came off at the same gate in the huntsmans close with both horses!

Kirst88, I think that is maybe a little inappropriate - if the Funnells were trying to have a baby and haven't been able to I doubt it is something they would want discussed on here.
Not having a go, just a thought

She has lots of horses, at pre novice, Novice going intermediate. And of course ensign, whom she won S of E 2* on! Just bringing on youngsters atm. But they are sure to be top 4* prospects? x

i think she's been doing a lot of SJing for william...and she doesn't have a true 4* really- ensign isn't quite cut out for that level i think. some of those billy youngsters look very promising tho

Pippa sustained an injury after a fall at an event with Ensign. At present she is helping out 'from the ground' due to said injury. I'm sure we'll see her back very soon

Ah, you've just reminded me. I was going to put up a post about this after reading it in a Saturday paper.

Apparently, she's been [ghost]writing pony books for youngsters.

The first one is all about SpottedCat. It's called Tilly's Pony Tails and I think it's already published or will soon be in the shops. Has anyone seen it yet?

Think she was launching them at Badminton Jiffy - Tina Cook mentioned them on the bbc commentary!
