Just catching up on the news and was delighted to find that the yob who "appeared" to let his pit bull attack a Blind Lady's guide dog has been caught, charged and jailed.

So often these stories fade into the past, but i'm pleased that this has been publicised as a warning to others who think it's ok to parade their Illegal dogs about like status symbols

Excellent, but inconsistant. When my horse was attacked by a pit bull type while I was hacking out, the police wouldn't even take my name and address, let alone investigate. I had a £200 bill for injury and equipment (it ripped her tendon boots and knee boots into small pieces) and 14 years later she still shakes if she meets a strange dog.

Glad about the result - can't imagine how sick the poor woman must have felt hearing her dog being attacked but being unable to do anything to help her or to comfort her afterwards. I imagine that some kind stranger took over and sorted them both out, thank god. However, why on earth put a video on a news article - I for one couldn't contemplate watching it, but of course there are always sickos out there who would get some thrill from seeing it. I would have thought it unnecessary really. (I don't mean you Kbsaff, I mean the editor etc).

Nothing I've read has mentione dit being a Pit Bull - it just states terrier type. Where did you read it was a Pit Bull if you don't mine me asking?
