Pixel's 6 months!!! (Spangle Overload!!!!)

Hi all!!!!,
Ickle Pixel is now 6 months all. Can't believe how quickly the time has gone!
For those that don't know Pix, she is only partically sighted (can see shadows and lights) but it doesn't affect her and though its taken a lot of hard work (and tears!!!!) to get to this point, we have really bonded and I think shes incredable and I wouldnt trade her for the world

so here is the little monkeys life so far

The first picture I saw of her!!! (Day old!)

3 weeks and growing fast!

First visit!!! (also 3 weeks)

Snuggling in Dad's arms

5 week visit!

Day she came home!

when she also first met Ollie the Schnauz

And also started learning to play With her mallard

She saw grass for the first time

Me and my little girl (9 weeks)

Soon her and Ronnie (my 8yrs old golden retriever) became best mates! (as in he lets her get away with murder ) 10 weeks

"Ronnie, you have a spaniel on your head!!!!"

3 months and getting used to baths now

and being dried off is still really fun!!!!

4 months and loving her walks

Like butter wouldn't melt!

Then a little break in piccies as I had to go into hospital for surgery was more upset about leaving her than the surgery!!!! So a metre less of intestine later and back to the pictures!!!

Because she can't see properly I decided to get her a car harness. The idea of her running loose on a road unable to see the car coming in the event of an accident is just terrifying!

(and of course she had to get a nice bright walking harness too! *shhhh...lead and collar too!!!!!*)

getting on 5 months now!!! Family portrait (all looking a bit bored!!!)

First snow 5 1/2 months (she loved it! Though found it very confusing. Her whole world must have seemed like it had turned upside down!)

Weeee!

Then the first lot of snow melted and we had a sunny walk (and she had a bad hair day!!!)

Then we had christmas. Pix said Merry Christmas!

She loved her Rudolph!

Then finally some from today...my little princess

Pwease mum pwease!!!! Give me dads shoe back!!! I wasn't chewing it I promise 0 hehe

Pixel is just gorgeous and my Pickle looks so much like her!! You could never tell that she is partially sighted from the pics. You have to make Christmas cards for next year from the one of Pix with her Santa hat on

Haycroft - not a silly question. she is a pure bred show cocker spaniel. Spangle is the cutesy term for a spaniel. Like Samoyeds a Sam, schnauzer a schauzie. Just sounds silly if you say a Span! So...Spangle!!!

Tricksy - I did use that as our Christmas cards everyone loved it!

NN I'm keeping her locked up just in case! Only one more day till next year!!! Eeeeeep! Hope Pickles locked up too!!!

Thank you again, she is getting a little big headed about all her admirers through, little madam won't leave Ronnie dog alone, "you must play with me now!!!" hehe!
