I have a group of friends coming over in the summer, the only centre I know of that does beach rides restricts it to experienced riders.
So, since my friends are basically 2 who have ridden but wouldn't be experts and then the two of us who would be competent, anyone recommend anywhere (We need horses to hire, i.e not on own horses.)

What about Dunfanyghy? (not sure if that is how it's spelt!) It's in Donegal and although I've never actually been on one of their rides before I've heard they are really good! Also some of their horses used to come down to my yard during the winter! So I know a few!

There may be others but their the ones I'd recommend- and it's round the back of a hotel if you need somewhere to stay!

Hope this helps!

Maddybenny at Portrush, or if you don't mind going "south" (or west as it happens) there are some good ones just outside Sligo/Mullaghmore direction where the beaches are much better.

Colleen_Miss_Tom will be back on line next week, you could ask her, or pm Hacking_Hack as she will know for sure

Don't know if they do, but they have a pretty good web site.

They might take rides out to the beach, or if not, they may know of somewhere near that does!

Sorry, can't be of any further help, but, Maddybenny was the first one that came into my head.

Just had a thought, what about Downhill? I'm sure there's a place near Benone, but can't think of it off the top of my head, they might do beach rides!

Don't live there anymore
