Plaiting manes with CTS

I am hoping to do alot of showing this year but have really severe CPS and am on the NHS waiting list to have this sorted. Silly question but does anyone have any tips on plaiting manes quickly as I get pins and needles after a minute or so. Any cheats bar hogging?? :)
 
I don't have any tips other than practice practice practice which doesn't really help you stop the pins and needles coming on. BUT if you wouldn't mind someone else doing it for you then you might be able to find someone who will plait your horse for you at shows. I quite often plait for other people.

Horse Gossip would be a good place to post to find other people in your area. I've had loads of messages from people near me offering help when I need someone to help me strip in the ring and am on my own.
 
You could do it in two stages. Plait the night before and then fold them up the following morning.
Neck covers help.

Or cheat and pay someone to do it! :)

It's not cheating - I do it for free just cos I like horses and plaiting and meeting other showing people. What goes around comes around and all that, it's nice being nice :)

ps - i am mega grumpy before 10am and 5 cups of tea, not really a love everyone loony
