Plaiting problem mane!!

Hi all - i am planning to take my 3yro to a show next weekend and OMG she appears to have rubbed (or field companion has chewed) out a great chun

k of mane!!
Am showing her in a hunter class and she needs to be plaited!! Any advise - it is a good 10cm chunk missing. Am thinking........home made hair extensions????

How long is her tail? and how long are the tufts of mane he has left? You can trim a little off the end of her tail, plait and ball it, then stitch it onto the tuft?? Might work!!

Extentions is a good idea, the problem I have at the moment is that we hogged in January, Now daughter has decided to plate for show tomorrow, its only about 1 1/2 inches long somone suggested bril-cream so that I can get a grip of it, if that don't work the clippers will be coming out again in the morning. cant beat a good hog, lol but then i'm biased. guess the only way for you around it is extensions
