Hi guys,
I don't know how true this is but seems to be 100% as I've had cases in my area.
Apparently, people are coming into fields with horses in and plaiting either tails or manes ofsome horses. Then they come back either later or something and steal the horses with the plaits in.

Just thought I'd put a message of caution out to anyone who's horse lives out or goes out overnight e.t.c

I just think that this MIGHT have been mentioned before on this forum. This is just too silly!

Please could you do a search, or maybe look in the stolen section, we've had this topic only last week.
(I'm in Kent and the Kent police say there are NO recorded cases of horses previously marked with mane plaits being stolen. That is NO cases. And breathe...!).

OP, thank you for your concern. I would look in the stolen section as there has been a thread very recently on the subject and from what I can make out, there isn't a connection. :D

i dont think it has ever been linked to theft, it is suspicious but im prety sure it has never been linked to a theft, as in a horse with its main plaited stolen the next day.
