I have the stubbs two step plastic mounting block (37cm high) but need a taller one. About 1 foot or more taller preferably.

Does anyone know if anywhere does a taller light and portable plastic mounting block?

Thanks :)

I've got a 3 step one, and I could get on my 17.2 in my dressage boots (with limited knee bend lol)

It's light enough (just about) to take to shows, but I can't get it through the grooms door of my equitrek trailer, so we have to transport it in the boot of the 4x4.

There's loads on ebay, if you do a search.

that's bizzare, the second time I clicked on the link the price had gone up? Am I going mad?

:D No I switched links!! EBay one is too cheap. I'm suspicious it mightn't be
A1 if you know what I mean.

Figure one of the platform things would fold away. I've got limited space and already hog more than my fair share at the yard I'm at :o

I've got the three step one of those and can get on a 16.2 easily from it. Fits in the front of the trailer when towing. It's been a godsend, would be lost without it now.

Hi,
I,ve got one of the aluminium platform things. Thought it would be useful. But to be honest it's a pain in the arse. It's hard to get it level. It can also be quite noisy, and narrow. There's isn't much space if horse decides to lean on you.

I have seen a plastic one that has storage in the top Not sure where I saw it now though.

We have 3 beer crates stacked on top of each other, fastened together with zip ties, we use it for plaiting, mounting and my sister takes it in the lorry to use as a mounting block out hunting-you would be amazed the amount of people that come and use it at the meet!
And it cost nothing!!
