PLASTIC SHOES ADVICE PLEASE

mY 18 YEAR OLD 12.2 PONY HAS GOT LAMINITUS AND HER PEADLE BONE HAS STARTED TO ROTATE. MY VET HAS ADVISED ME TO HAVE HER SHOD WITH PLASTIC SHOES. HAS ANYONE HAD ANY EXPERIENCE OF PLASTIC SHOES AND DOES ANYONE KNOW OF A FARRIER IN THE SOUTH YORKS, NORTH NOTTS AREAS THAT DOES THIS TYPE OF SHOEING.

Sorry not in your area so can't recommend farrier, but my friend used these for her pony and had amazing results with them. They are expensive but if her experience is anything to go by you get a quick recovery.

Good advice from Peter. My farrier used Imprints on my severely laminitic pony and they saved his life. The farrier was brilliant They aren't cheap but well worth it.

I have put 100’s of plastic shoes on and I will freely admit that in my opinion the IMPRINT shoe is by far the best
I would contact Andrew Poynton at Imprint and ask if they know someone in your area who can help
If you are not going down the barefoot treatment road then I would get them on ASAP
