I was supposed to be having my 7 month unhandled foal delivered next Friday but turns out he can't deliver and I've already arranged it that he HAS to arrive that day with a hectic schedule moving house, another pony arriving etc.

I don't drive so that's not an option!

I'm based in Shropshire and need to sort something out to go and pick him up next Friday.

I thought a trailer would be the best option as I thought he'd do the least damage in there but I've got nobody to tow it.

Do people hire small boxes out which would be safe to travel a loose foal in? Either by a driver or I have somebody who can drive it.

Any ideas, contacts would be brilliant as I'm running out of time and desperate to get this sorted!

Hi,

I don't know of any in your area - but a search on Google, a call to the local pony club/riding club may be fruitful. You can hire small boxes (and sometimes they are delivered) and sometimes a local transporter will advertise on Preloved/ebay/Equine press.

Are you moving to a yard? If so can the YO help out or know someone who can?
