This is Daffodil, she came from a riding school in Berkshire and before that she came from a Polo yard in the South East. The riding school I got her from know nothing of her history except that she came from a polo yard and they gave me a new blank passport with no details on it whatsoever except that she is called Dilly ???
I contacted the polo yard and they don't have her original passport and say they bought her from a polo playing client who gave up polo and have to protect their clients identity ...

She is 19, Chestnut and a Thoroughbred and that is all I know ... anyone ???
(She is the most incredible, gentle, kind and stoic mare you should ever come across, and she is very, very happy in her 5* luxury retirement home :-)

Could you get your vet or someone with a microchip scanner (we use a pet one at work on the horses) to scan her and see if she has a chip. I cannot quite recall the year when it was made compulsory for all racing TBs to have one, but we have some pretty old mares with chips. As Polo yard do pick up a lot of TBs, raced or unraced then there is chance she might have had a proper Weatherbys type passport at some stage.

I bought an ex polo pony in August he had a Hurlingham Polo Association Passport which showed no details of the owner . Only some vet history and some vaccination history . The HPA were very helpful and within half an hour of a phone call to them his old owner phoned me with lots of info and was very pleased that he had found out where his horse went. Who issued the passport.?
