Please can i have some healing vibes for Murphy my nearly 25yo TB.

He had to spend the day in today due to my fields flooding, i turned him out in the Manege with his best pal for a hour or so this evening.
When i came to bring them in he could hardly walk, when he did he was having trouble with the forward motion with his off hind.
He is picking it up but not moving it very far forward, he can weight bare fine & is not sweating or in any other form of distress. He's eating ok.

I spoke to the vets within 10 mins of finding the problem & they have advised me to give him 2 Danilon & see how he is in the morning. I have a call out booked for the morning, i normally just get the emergancy vet, but after a very lengthy phone call with the vets they decided he would be fine to be seen tomorrow morning i never once said i didnt want a call out btw.
I now feel very guilty & feel like i should of demanded they come out!!
Ive never left a horse overnight before with a problem & not had them see a vet straight away & ive owned horses for a long time.. When i came off the phone i felt a bit rail roaded actually.

He's had his 2 danilon & im just praying that he's pulled himself & it's not something dreadful.

Ive owned him since he was 3yo & he's put me through the mill on many occasion. But i love him dearly & at the same time im wishing he wasnt such a prat messing about as he does, you would think he was a 2yo sometimes. I also wish i hadnt turned him out for a leg stretch now as well.

!!

I will let you all know how he is.

What worry's me is that he is already weakend on his hinds through an accident that happended in Sep 08 he tore his Semi Tendinosis on the near side hind & it has left him noticably weakend. However he has recovered marvellously from it considering the damage he did. This was another wild hooly moment in the field.

Fingers crossed im stressing over something simple.

Thanks all so much for the vibes & thoughts.

Oh no!!! Poor Murphy!!!

Loads of (((((((((((vibes)))))))))) for him! Try to think positive, he may well be a lot better by tomorrow!!! Sometimes really sudden, really obvious lameness is less serious than it looks at first! Maybe he has just tweeked something and he felt really sorry for himself.

Hang in there!!

hugs and vibes for you both . ><<><><><><>xoxoxoxoxooxox
One of mine was recently hopping lame , stood on 3 legs when i arrived to feed them , i thought oh god hes broken his leg !! had to be sedated by vet to look at leg as he wouldnt let anyone touch him at all.
we then found it was an abcess in his hoof , must have been really painful , think it was a result of all this rain , and mud , something seemed to have worked its way into his hoof . he is perfect now, but it is so worrying when they get injured .
your boy has prob had frolics and twisted something , hope he is better soon . xoxooxoxoxox
