Rather than taking over another post on here about WBs. I was reading about Cadence and suddenly realised I'm not sure of the actual meaning. Please could someone clarify?

Hehe sorry just found this and it made me chuckle....

Cadence is rhythm basically but when people talk about it (whenever I've heard it discussed anyway!) good cadence has been described as the lift and swing of the gait, good cadence indicating suspension within the ryhthm

Oh my gosh I must get some! That will help me with my boys cadence!

Thank you for your explanation.

PS agrred with your WB post, you put it far more eloquently than I could.

Lol- some people eh?!
It's something I feel pretty strongly about- my family are very much into exploring classical dressage training methods and how to get a horse truly working through having a thorough knowledge of biomechanics etc, it's fascinating!!

Balanced, rhythmic flow, as of poetry

The measure or beat of movement, as in dancing or marching

that's how I've been told about it. Thought balance was part of it. Almost like they have equal balance on all 4 feet isnt it?
