Hi my friend has a Palomino mare by Calgary Gold and we are trying to trace him but coming up blank.I think he was around in the 70's??but possible not.
Allegedly he is the only Palomino TB if so you would think there would be more on him!! So if anyone knows of him and has piccies could you let me know.

Calgary Gold stood at Geoff Brookes in Notts. Think he was by John OGaunt ID/TB but will check through my old stud books and get back to you.

he was foaled in April 1970, by Tynwald (bay TB) (Hierocles / Council Rock) out of a mare by First Melody. He was bred by a C Riordan in County Cork and owned by C G Brooks in Keyworth, Notts.

I seem to recall he produced one or two decent jumpers and Harvey or maybe it was Robert smith rode one that was by Clagary Gold. Seem to also recall that one was a great big MASSIVE giraffe of a horse.
