Hi guys,

I have a bit of a list already of 'potential' yards but think this is about the best source of info for us horsey peeps so wanted to see if I could get any other reccomendations. I havent called anywhere so havent really considered waiting lists and the like and Im not urgently moving but have decided it is time to move. My current yard is lovely in lots of ways and fab people etc but I've been there 5 years now and the niggly things I didn't like originally have escalated.

In terms of area, I'm currently in Caerleon, horses currently in Usk. I'm moving back to Malpas/Llantarnam area in a month and I work in Coedkernew. So in terms of area Im pretty lucky that I can easily reach quite a few places within half an hour.

In terms of facilities, I need turnout but not 24/7, can be quite flexible with this but quality is more important than the length of turnout allowed. Will definitly need a decent arena and relatively decent hacking. Big airy stables and a secure tack room.

Any ideas?

I live in Malpas, work in Cardiff, kept horse in Ponthir for 7yrs with a brief stint in Treddunock but went back. Now at other fantastic yard but its not opening properly until May ish, only 8 horses with us atm as we're all good friends with the yard owner, only 4 of us inc yard owner! Sounds like it'll be just what you're looking for & a lot more! PM me for more info if you want.

P.S - Also been around every yard in a 20 mile radius so know pro's & con's of them all lol
 
Oh not sure what happened there then! Did it on my phone. Lol. Just said can I have more info on the new yard please and that I might know you as I'm at the yard in Tredunnnock, assuming you are on about the same one :)
