Being chestnut I think the flies are going to bother Micah, and as he also has a small sarcoid (which won't get covered anyway as its by his groin/shealth. But I guess I need to use a fly rug. The one I have hangs down his tummy about 6 inches lol and has also seen much better days!!
My thinking is that on days when we may have showers he would need a waterproof rug, but as soon as it dries up he would be better in a fly rug. I can't afford a Rambo and liner so was looking at this one

Also can you buy a fly mask that would also protect his white nose from the sun??

) then go for a cheap leather headcollar, fly fringe attached to headcollar and nose net which works extremely well and touch wood Pidge has only got out of his once or twice!
