PLEASE HELP: Olympic XC

I don't think I have a hope of staying up from 1 to 4 am.

We have sky interactive but only a hard drive. Can someone tell me if it is possible to record from sky interactive????

Any suggestions most welcome or I am gonna miss out!

BBC1 DOES have XC coverage - how much and exact times, we do not know, but there is SOME, so if all fails, record that

BBC highlights should be tomorrow 18.00 - 19.00 and 22.00- 23.00 (not sure whether that's just a repeat though)

It is on BBC from 12.50am until 3am so you could record that, and then I believe their are HL on at about 4pm tomorrow on BBC1 so you will be able to catch the last of the riders.

I can't tape interactive on Sky. So I think what you need to do is just tape BB1 as at some stage they will be showing the xc.

Im just recording it tonight on BBC1 from 12.50. You cant record interactive as far as I know so Im hoping theyll show most of it on bbc1.

Otherwise, I wonder if theyll let you watch it online?? They stream it through live but maybe theyll store it too so we could access it later?

Can you not record it off bbci if you leave the television on and on the correct channel? I thought if you turn the tv onto standby it loses the channel but if its left on you might be able to record. Although i have never tried this.

I have tried a couple of things but I am now resigned to recording the BBC normal channel coverage on our sky box. I have set it to record from 12:50pm onwards.

I've recorded all the bbci coverage onto my dvd player with no problem. I just go to BBC1, press the red button, choose the stream, press record on my dvd and then turn the telly off. it records it fine, so i have found. I had to play around though to get it right.
