please help settle this.... welsh c and d... heights?

It can still be a registered welsh section C pony and just be overheight, it just means that if they wanted to show it, it would be too big.

My friend breeds fantastic section C's and every now and then one they breed is either too small, or over height and they usually sell it as a pet (childs) pony, rather than a show quality pony.

Overheight C's can be re-regstered as D's & vice versa, that way they can still be shown.

The problem with doing this - is that a Section A, B, C and D are all very different types, they are not just bigger versions of the same type of pony. A big Section C is not the same as a D.
