Please help why havent I even had one call.

My mare was for sale for 6 months until I made a video of her with my everyday camera. It wasn't perfect, but you've got a movie maker program on your computer if you are using windows which enables you to edit, add music, photos etc. Its well worth a dabble and makes a HUGE difference to the number of enquiries. The lovely people that bought her said that they fell in love with her when they saw her in the video!
 
Thank you all again, have amended her add and upped her price, it is so hard to write ads. I did thing that maybe she would appeal to someone who wants a lovely horse, but a bit like myself can afford to keep them, but not got a lot of cash flow to actually buy one.

There must be someone out there that will love her.
 
To be honest I think she looks absolutely fine and a bargain, maybe it is the price that is putting people off as it makes her sound greener than she probably is. Agree that a ridden photo is needed as my first question when finsding out more would be is she in work at the moment and can I see her being ridden before I ride her?

Have recently heard that my horse needs to be retired and if I could convince my OH that I need a horse to ride I would be in the car to see her now (especially as my budget at the mo is £1500)!
 
Your photo of her not tacked up makes it look as if she has a very significant thickening of the white hind leg. I buy cheap horses from Horsemart and that picture alone would stop me ringing about her.
 
Gosh you are right that picture does make her whole leg look strange, I never noticed that at all, it just goes to show what extra pairs of eyes show up thank you. I wonder if it was because it is off my mobile and was getting dusky.

Have someone coming up tomorrow to take some good pictures of her being ridden and jumped and will take a better one of her stood up.
 
Really do thank you for your comment, shot out checked horse and leg, came back looked at large picture and its her tail!!!! that is in the way and makes her leg look big, will get that changed.

I hate horses with short tails and now I know why

She is exactly what I am looking for and my max limit is £1500 - £1750. My mare died suddenly in the field 5wks ago and I had no savings for another one.

I would ring up about her in a flash if you were nearer

I am finding it extremely difficult to find a horse that fits my bill near me. I have a 100% loving home for life, waiting for the right horse but as you say not a lot of money to buy one with

. She's a very nice mare, I agree with the people who said you were asking too little. She should sell easily with photos of her being ridden.
 
That's great you are getting someone to take more photos of the mare, the tacked up one of her makes her head and neck look out of proportion, in my opinion.

You've said in the thread that you've got a new school put in now, why not add something about that in the ad. Hope the revised ad gets a good result.

Thank you for all your help and advise.

Have taken new photos today (its amazing what a better camera does) and updated her ad, so hopefully I will get some calls on her, and she will get the home she truly deserves. Have also placed an ad in H&H too, so fingers crossed.
