Hi Guys, Right i have a lovely 4 year old horse that is living out with his friends, big 16.3 irish D , I put a new horeseware rug on him last week to take the other Amigo home to wash as it was smelly, got email last night to say hood ripped off new rug thats fine horses are horses , I want a rug with a built in neck but horseware only do one for 200 plus (really dont want to spend that if getting ripped) and Amigos dont do built in neck :( I need a rug that fits like the Horseware rugs fit around the chest ! so what one would you all get for a big horse > pulling my hair out . xx Thanks lovely people !!!!!!!

the amigo horseware rugs are a good make and therefore stronger so less likely to rip. I feel your pain though, my TB has trashed her neck cover running past thorny hedges  its only a cheap rug mind but still...........

I have an Amigo with built in neck (and 1200 D), paid 70 quids for it. Look up Hope Valley Saddlery on e-bay or through their website, they have excellent clearance prices.

Thank you, i have been looking on ebay and Hope Vally i can only see rugs with neck you can take on or off , want one with intergral neck so its harder for the other horses to hang on it and rip it off ! x

The pain is bad, WHY MY HORSE CANT JUST SAY PLEASE CAN YOU GET OFF ME, MUMMY IS NOT GOING TO BE HAPPY, I DONT KOWN !!!!!!!

I usually use rambo/rhino/amigo - but got a premier equine this year - which has been fantastic! My boy has v broad shoulders and the PE rugs fits fine, no rubbing. His field mate is good at dismantleing his rugs and so far its stayed in one piece!!
