Hello... My horses are all being treated for liver damage ( only one confirmed but vet says treat all ) as I think they have eaten something whilst I was away on holiday... Therefore milk thistle is costing me £14 a day from holland and barratt (120m) does anyone know where I could buy it cheaper and save some pennies ??? All help much appreciated

try ringing the Dodson and Horrell helpline - they used to do milk thistle, and may well be able to get you a whopping great big sack of it in a hurry!

I do hope they're all on the mend and there's to be little or no lasting damage!

Dont know if it will work out cheaper (depends on how many you are treating) but Vi-sorbin might be worth a go instead. We were told by our vets that its what they recommend for most things liver related.
Its about £28 for a litre but thats 30+ doses.

Milk thistle also grows wild in great quantity.

also agree that vi-sorbin is very good for liver issues.
