Hmm £8000-9000 i'd say. I've been looking at horses for sale to buy for myself for the past week and that seems to be about the price for that sort of competition experience.

Im only going to compare to what I sold and tha fact that you dont mention how he hacks/is to handle etc/ridden or stable vices. I sold a 16hh 6 year old Warmblood X who had 16BD points when I sold him and had started tackling 90-95cm courses and he sold for just under £4000 so Im thinking for this one which has more experience £6000- £7500

I would say nearer £10k to £12k, its rare to get a nice horse that has good dressage and good jumping & its a nice age too.

However, I would like to pay no more than £8000, depends what you want it for really. If you wanted to dressage I would say it was worth more but if you want to show jump then not so much as its experience is only unaffiliated.

I think it will depend on his temperament and how many people he is likely to suit. If he is straight-forward then he sounds like a nice allround schoolmaster who could teach someone the ropes or go further, so I agree that around £9,000 could be reasonable (assuming he hacks and is OK to handle).
If he is a bit more 'lively' (for want of a better word really) or comes with significant 'ifs' or 'buts', then a lot less.

i sold a horse last year similar history (younger) but proven bsja and pn eventing no vices ect for 10K, would think that horse is worth about the same!!

Depends whether we're going on prices people are asking atm or what the horse sells for

What level BD is he working at? Has he got his points from a few good tests or a lot of ok ones? I wouldn't say he's a 10k horse though
