Please rate this treeless saddle

i had one similar called a freemax for my compact round cob but had to get rid due to it rubbing his loins was very comfy though

the one in the link would not be easy to clean as its a mesh fabric covering and the hairs will stick in it the whole saddle will feel quite ridgid untill it warms as its made from one piece of foam you will need a treeless pad underneath to get spine clearance and the wither bar on mine kept coming away from the base so the wither got trapped under it they do seem very cheap though
i now use a barefoot saddle and cant fault it
hope this helps

For that money, avoid, avoid, avoid. The only decent cheap treeless I've come across (under £200 new) is the Libra. The others I've seen (at BETA, local tack shops, and peeking at things people have bought off eBay) have been incredibly flimsy with no way of distributing the rider's weight, poorly stitched and just generally quite unpleasant - and the cheaper they are, the worse they are.

The saddle in that link is a Freeform copy - Freeforms retail for approximately £800, are injection moulded, made of Italian leather, and regularly used in high level endurance as they are supremely good at distributing pressure. To do a copy for £45 surely tells you how little effort they've gone to.

Sorry, I think the same as the others.
Too cheap and Indian saddles are notoriously bad...also they go on about a flex tree but it's advertised as treeless?

If you want to go tree free I would recommend Barefoot, the old freeform (not fitform) or Trekker. Libra also have a good rep although I've never used one. If you keep an eye on ebay they sometimes go cheap secondhand.

Agree with the others! I'm selling an original Freeform, which is a brilliant saddle, but second-hand you'd need to add a zero to that price.

I had the Requisite Roamer and it was fabulous! My round Fell went very well in it.
I would avoid anything that cheap though, I'd worry about the quality!x

I rode Jack in a libra trek treeless when I first got him Lou,(was a stop gap until I got him a treed one) and he went fine in it.

I find them a bit unstable, and drives me potty that can't do up my own girth straps once on board, but all horses I've ridden in it seem happy enough and it is very comfortable.

Can pick up a second hand libra very cheap, and they are pretty good saddles for a more budget brand.
