The work these guys do is AMAZING and now they would love to take a team of therapy ponies to Newtown.
Does anyone in America know anywhere who might give or lend them a mini-van?
Also any donations would be gratefully received towards eventually buying their own smaller van instead of having to use the lorry all the time, I will donate a bit tonight :)

We have been contacted by many people asking about our therapy horses traveling to Newtown, CT. This tragedy touches us deeply because our horses spend so much
time working with children inside schools and our founder is a school principal. It is something we would love to do. As many of you know we have been trying to get a "mini van" this year to make out of state transportation safe (warm), faster and much less expensive for our tiny horses to travel to special situations. Parking is also an issue for many home hospice visits when pulling a large horse trailer.
Right now we are working to see how we can get a team of therapy horses to Newtown. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we try to find a way to work it out. We know if transportation can be set up we have volunteers who would find a way to take care of their own expenses. We are trying to find a car dealership that would donate or loan a van to a 501(c)(3) nonprofit or some other way to get purchase van. We will keep you updated.

These guys are brilliant, you can see the delight on the faces of everyone they visit. I'll go and donate too.

Hope they manage to get there.

Bump!
Come on guys :(

Even just a share on facebook?
I know things are tight moneywise at this time of year but even $2 would help!
Things seem to be coming together but financing this trip isn't in their normal budget!
There is a secure donation link on their facebook page via paypal or debit/credit card.

There is a local dog therapy group taking dogs to visit the town. I don't know whether now is the time for ponies to be visiting, maybe loving time spent with their families is the best therapy for the children right now.
