Please recommend me some boots (for horse not me)

Hi,

My mare recently fell over on the road and took a nice chunk off the front of one of her hind fetlocks. She's recovered fine but now I'm paranoid about her knocking it again so was thinking about getting some sport boots.

Any one use them or got any opinions??

I'm looking for something to cover up the front of the fetlock when hacking and for xc but worried that sport boots will make the legs too hot and also don't seem very robust/ very protective against knocks etc.

Sports Medicine Boots are the best IMO, there are a lot of cheap alternatives out there at the moment which, while they are a fraction of the price, won't offer that much protection.

They are quite pricey but well worth the money
