Found her with colic early this morning, sadly she required surgery and still waiting to hear 3 hours later, i am devastated she is only 7 and my life (sad but true!)

thank you so much everyone! Went 60 miles back to the vets this eve to see her, she is comfortable, on drip and antibiotics. They managed to sort out the part of her small intestine that was strangled without the need to remove any of the gut. Next 24/48 hours will be crucial. At least i've seen her and cuddled her and took her clean rugs.
Thanks again i am so touched. I adore that horse and she is very loved, her owner when she was a baby and my best friends who rushed us to the vets have been on the phone all day waiting for news.
