Bless Quirky, surprised he wasn't PTS at the time of the incident tbh as it must have been horrific then. What a lovely chap though, fingers crossed the vet can help you little man :)

i got my new boy from there. they are very thorough in their home checks, and requirements for all the dogs, and really do seem to go that extra mile for the ones that need special vet treatment, and long term care. they also have a huge team of fosterers around the country to rehabilitate the dogs into normal family life. You can help them in many ways, delta feed will take payment for food and deliver to the rescue entre, you can have a collection box from them for your office, or take part in raffles and fund raising, they are always in need of bedding, food, toys, leads/collars/bowls etc.
 
What happened to Quirkie's mouth? I just went on there, and it only said about Dogs Trust paying for them and just pulling Quirkie's tooth and that he can easily carry two balls in his mouth. :( Sounds sad though :((
 
So sad reading all those stories, so many ex breeding bitches :( I actually cried at looking at the pictures of Mary Lous lump. How could someone be so callous to let it get to that stage?

Absolutely heartbreaking. I hope Quirkie can be helped and the other dogs find the loving homes they all so desperately deserve.
