The BLM protect the wild mustangs. Why would they have the PTS? Usually they round the up and auction off the excess numbers.

I don't see the difference between this cull and the cull on deer that happens every year in the highlands of Scotland. If the land can't support the animals then something has to be done with them, these are wild horse's that can't be rehomed to just any old 'caring home' I think they will end up suffering far more if rehomed to the wrong people, which is who WILL buy them, than if they are just PTS. Sad but a fact of life.
