We were looking into holding some qualifying shows for trailblazers, so I downloaded the forms, and I am a little perplexed....
On the first page it states
"There are no affiliation fees or levies payable to trailblazers, and entry fees can be set at the shows discretion"
But then it goes on to say;
"The cost to centres is a 'one off' joining fee of £100. Each centre pays £200 per discipline per annual series for 50 qualification cards" (I guess the idea is these are sold to competitors at £12 each and you make money back, but what if you don't want 50 cards!!
So, the 'no affiliation fee' is actually rubbish, as you are paying £100, then a further £200 per discipline, with no guarentee people will come through the door - you have forked out £300 before you have any chance of getting anything back... Am I readng this right, or have I missed something??
