please suggest some horseboxes

I am looking for a lorry to take my mare out in this year she is 16.3 and also sometimes my firends 15hand so need a 7.5 ton by the time you get gear and 2 or 3 bods in. I am looking for a short box 2 horse unfitted living as want to fit this out myself and reliable potentially a daf, merc or VW and up to about £5-6k. I know not huge budget but this is to get us out and about and see how we get on and we can then upgrade later.

My friend is selling hers, it's 7 tons, may be a bit old for you thi=ough, it's a H reg, think she is looking between 3 and 4k for it?

H reg would be fine, pics/more info or link to advert. if poss. I realise i am not going to get very new lorry but so long as it is reliable and safe i dont mind if needs tarting up etc.

You might find a better payload on a 6.5 ton lorry if you don't want masses of living. Ours has a small living fine for two of us ,a small sleeping luton and is big enough to carry 2 biggish horses. Its payload is about 2.5 tons.
