Please take a minute to sign this petition for SWHP

thanks everyone. the more the merrier.
the owners of these ponies actually go and tip over the water containers that SWHP volunteers lug up to the commons for them when there's none in the depths of icy winter, when the ponies are desperate for it. i will NEVER understand the mentality of anyone who would rather a pony dies of hunger and dehydration than that a kind stranger helps it.
microchipping being enforced would be a good start.
 
Tbh (and please don't shout at me. I can see the good intentions of the cause) I can't see the benefit of microchipping these ponies. Surely if people want to dump ponies they'll just cut the chip out with a razor blade?
 
* my post should read "enforcing the microchipping" .

I just see the whole microchipping requirement as next to useless. Same with passports. There's always someone who will go out their way to avoid the system.

I don't think you could take a chip out like that from a horse, as they have to be implanted into the nuchal ligament in the neck, unlike in small animals where they just go under the skin.
 
Done.. maybe micro chipping the "owners" might be an even better idea tho ... we should leave them out on the hill without food and water..
