We were not on until 8.30pm tonight, so had the entire day to wait! Not too good as i keep getting adreneline rushes!
Horses are all doing really well, we are just so pleased with how they have adapted to it all. The stables are typical show stables, so small, they havent been out in a field since sunday, yet they still go into the arena and trust is under spotlights, with audiences, us all dressed up as Romans, and produce hoof perfect displays each time!
Unfortunatly, one of our horses was very lame at the start of the performance, so couldnt continue. Vet has checked him, so we all have fingers crossed that he will be sorted to be able to join us again really soon for the other displays.
It is great to meet everyone who comes to the stand we have in the shopping village and talk to people about their horses and, well horses in general.
We have had some really nice comments, which is just really lovely to hear....after all we have spent EVERY weekend (and more) practicing (wind, rain snow- you know how it has been!!) since christmas preparing for this.
We have also become a very close group of friends, having spent many a night making the costumes from scratch (few bottles of wine have helped!!)
anyhow, really need to sleep, we have exercise at 8am tomorrow (chance for horse to stretch legs!) and then we perform again at 2.40pm... so if you are there, come visit us (hopefully we will have our local lad Ben Maher on the stand at some point!!), would be great to meet you
