Good evening, I'm new to HHO and wanted to introduce myself having been a chronic lurker for some time!

I own a 6 year old warmblood x welsh cob gelding, shared with my hubby. After returning to riding in my early 20's after a teenage hiatus I fulfilled my lifelong dream of horse ownership (and all the ups and down, early mornings and cold winter evenings!) last year when we bought Starr. He's a wonderful boy, cheeky quirky and sometimes infuriating but I couldn't imagine life without him and the friends I've made being on DIY.

Ahh thanks for the welcome I'll acquaint myself with the regs before I post any pics of my boy
After a pony mad childhood with posters of Dessie, Milton etc plastered all over my bedroom I jacked in riding from 14 to 22 to focus on boys, drinking and partying. Then I just felt I had to sit on a horse again and that was it!

I think the 17 year old me would be horrified to see how little I bother now with decent clobber let alone make-up and showing my hair a comb!

Very similar to me, I was 15 when I stopped (just about able to get into clubs) and 19 when I started again, absolutely wouldn't change it for the world! My seventeen year old self would also be disgusted, I'm sat in a hoody that stinks of horse poo and my hair tied on top of my head after getting too hot after riding! Delightful
