plumbing cost for kennels ?

bit of a random question but on the off chance anyone can help...

my kennels are in a building literally 6 paces from my back door. I had it built by a company that does garages and stabling with the intention of partitioning off the inside. The one thing I didnt do which I regret is have it plumbed with a sink. Now we fed raw I really do regret this as we are stuck using the outside tap or sink in my kitchen. There is a washing machine plumbed in next to my back door which is directly opposite the kennels door - so.. can anyone give me any idea at all how difficult a job it would be to get a sink put in there and roughly some idea of how much I might expect to spend?
 
Important things to consider - water supply & waste water disposal.

Then you have heating, anti frost and possibly change of use for the building.
 
A clever friend of mine had his plumber drill a neat hole in the external wall of his house so he could connect a pipe to the internal hot water supply with a tap on the outside wall! Must have taken some very precise measuring though.

I suggest to make a simple plan of what you want, with measurements, existing pipes, drainage, etc. and take it to your local friendly builder. Ideally, get several quotes plus recommendations. It's impossible for us here to be able to give you a price because, for all we know, you could be sited on solid rock in the middle of a town!

As we are all anonymous here, I can safely say that my kennel drains are plumbed into the domestic soil drainage to a septic tank after years of having problems. I still get problems but they are easily sorted with a few drain rods. I also put self-fill water bowls into all kennels myself. It didn't cost a fortune as I had a machine here to dig the trenches anyway. Alkathene is not expensive and modern fittings are like Leggo. Just put everything out of chewing reach!
 
You may well find that digging the trench for the pipe work is as expensive as the actual plumbing bit. When you get quotes ask them to break it down. Then if you want to you can do the digging yourself or just get a general 'man' in to do it, rather than as part of the plumbing work.
