PNP update

I emailed BE about it today and this was their response:

Thank you for your message. Your are absolutely right about the PNP heights and the rule was wrongly printed in the rule book and the note should read "No other obstacle may exceed 1.05m in height etc". There will be an update shortly on rules which will be communicated via the website and magazine.


So SJ will be inbetween PN and N height.

Well that makes a hell of a lot more sense.

Though it is good they did not have them last year otherwise I'd have pratted about doing them for ages instead of getting on with it and going novice!

No, I think it's 1.05 with 2 at 1.10 and the usual BE rules of easier first couple of fences.

OK, I'm really confused now

Got Eventing magazine today & that said that SJ would be 1m with 2 obstacles up to 1m 10..
I don't think anybody really knows do they?!

Diane - LECs post was an email she got form BE when she emailed to ask!

So they do know, it's just the annual 'spot the error in the rule book' game!!

Last year it was CCI* qualification which was wrong, this year its PNP.
