Posted this a while ago in the NL, nobody seemed to have heard alot about him. This is my mares sire and was just wondering if anyone had any horses by him. Know he died a few years ago. The only info i have on him is whats on all pedigree. Or any pics would be great.

Thanks

Aimee

I THINK he was an HIS/NLHBS stallion. I remember going to see a horse by him with a view to buying it as an eventer but that was a good few years back. Horse was nice - I didn't buy it but was definately tempted.

I think he sired quite a few useful eventers - the part-arab stallion Tunes of Glory was one of them.

Quick google brought up this:

I know of him - he used to stand at Carlton Bank Stud in Cleveland. Owned by Heather Hyde Saddington. Sired a lot of event horses locally plus some that reached Advanced eventing

I have a mare that i bred by him and actually another here by im to cover atm as well.
They are like peas in a pod apart from the fact one is 17.2 and one is 15.2 but both threw the High Top attitude that Poetic Justice was known for.
BTW he was the leading TB sire of showjumpers fro a few years running when the BHD was running so they are talented if enigmatic.

This is a picture of my mare shortly after she foaled last year hence still crumpled foal.

Thanks sallyf, was wondering whether it was just my mare that is a little complicated on times.
She also seems to have inherited his hight being 17hh as a 3 year old. Also being part trakehner, they seem to have a tendancy to mature late. *insert nervous grin smiley here*
Ah well, we're getting there.
Pic of her in about feb (im about 5'4)
