Point 2 question...

A friend of mine fell off his horse out hacking whilst wearing a point 2, and broke some ribs landing on the gas cannister. I didn't think to ask him whether he was wearing a normal bp, but is this a common risk?

if the P2 doesn't go off, and you aren't wearing a regular bp under it, then i'd suspect it definitely is. it's one of the things that puts me off them. iirc there is a metal plate with curved corners behind the gas canister but it does have edges (it's only a bit bigger than the canister iirc) so falling off and landing on it, IF the P2 doesn't inflate, won't necessarily be fine...

yet another reason I don't like it. Also I see so many are wearing them INSTEAD of a BP for SJ and hacking
